Charles W. Forsyth

Chuck Forsyth is the founder and President of Clearfield Consulting. During his career, he served as V.P. of Operations for both a Fortune 100 company and a $1B Medical Device Company. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Johnson Controls, Chuck led the 400+ member sales team to $1.2B in sales.

Experienced in managing turnarounds and P&Ls over $200M with a track record of increasing secured and executed margins, throughout his career, Chuck has been recognized as a creator of high performance teams that excel. His extensive experience includes improving safety, customer satisfaction, trade working capital, and diversity in addition to top line growth and EBITDA.

Chuck has a passion for the people in a business and takes pride in his ability to improve employee engagement and the overall effectiveness of the leaders in an organization. He was consistently rated in the highest tier in both employee engagement and leadership effectiveness at Johnson Controls. His belief is that the employees, at all levels, and their level of engagement, are the primary determinant between success and mediocrity.

Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Gannon University and a Master of Business Administration from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He lives near Philadelphia with his wife, two daughters, and two spoiled dogs. In his free time, Chuck enjoys volunteer work, reading, trail running, hiking and biking.
